What makes you passionate about working for the NHS?
The NHS is probably the most important institution we have in this country. The ability to make a difference with each placement makes me especially passionate about working with the NHS. With every permanent clinician placed more patients are healed along with the ease on the NHS locum spend.
What do you love about recruiting doctors into Psychiatry departments within the NHS?
Psychiatry helps to give an individual the power to make major changes in their lives and to target the exact issues relating to their mental or behavioral health challenges. Recruiting specialists in this field is an absolute joy as they contribute to healing these parts of society.
What qualifications do I need to specialise as a psychiatrist?
You’ll need MRCPsych, PLAB, or USMLE to qualify as a psychiatrist in the U.K. along with valid OET or IELTS unless you are English exempt.
What’s the best thing about working at Remedium?

Tell us an amazing story about one of the doctors you placed in psychiatry
There is nothing more rewarding than successfully placing a husband and wife at the same Trust. I placed two psychiatrists (husband and wife) at a Trust in Devon. With their first position in the U.K. being a daunting experience having never left home, they’ve taken on Devon at full force even assisting other psychiatrists and becoming pilots of the mock MRCPsych examinations! A couple that was once hesitant and nervous regarding their move have become sought after in Devon!
