If you were unsuccessful, fear not. We will guide you through the feedback to see how you could do better next time and can match you to more roles.
We’ll guide you through the process of offer acceptance and, if you’re moving from another country, agree a relocation timeframe with you and your new employer so that everyone is happy from the outset.
6Meet your onboarding executive (OBE)
If you’re moving to the UK from another country, it’s inevitable that there will be a lot to do.
At this point, you’ll be introduced to your dedicated and highly-experienced OBE executive. Their job is to hold your hand at every step of the way, making the move as easy as possible for both you and your family. Your OBE will be available to you 24/7 and will be able to provide you with practical, emotional and cultural guidance, as and when you need it.
See how we’ve been supporting doctors to relocate even during the Covid-19 pandemic.
7Relocation support
We understand that the process of relocating can be daunting but we have supported thousands of doctors like you to make the move before. In addition to the tailored support provided by your OBE, our award-winning digital relocation software, Red Carpet, will help relieve the burden, by helping you with administrative tasks like securing flights and accommodation, setting up a bank account and much, much more.
8Starting your new role
It’s your first day and you’re ready to start your new role. Don’t be nervous – you’ll be great!
Some of our previous candidates have found the UK culture and system to be different to those of their home country. Our pioneering, CPD-accredited courses have been specifically designed to support clinicians from overseas to acclimatise to working in a new healthcare system.
9Ongoing support
We love to see our clinicians grow and develop in their new career and so we will follow up with you periodically to see how you’re getting on. As a member of our exclusive set of top NHS clinicians, you will also be invited to attend our regular networking events, where you can meet and mingle with other successful doctors who live and work close-by.
