Our Specialties
We recruit for a number of sub-specialties across secondary care organisations. We know that recruiting top-quality talent requires industry leading knowledge of qualifications, specialisms and experience. Our teams are divided according to specialty, allowing our resourcing and recruitment teams to develop extensive and industry leading knowledge of their individual specialisms.
We recruit for 8 specialties – Accident and Emergency, Medicine, Radiology, Psychiatry, Women and Children, Pathology, Theatres and Nursing. Each specialism has its own specific qualifications, requirements, and skill sets – knowing these help us filter and pre-screen our candidates, ensuring the candidates we put forward to our clients are A Grade.
Medicine
Our medicine team have over 25 years of combined industry experience recruiting across all medicine specialties, with the highest demand across Acute, General, and Geriatric Medicine. We have successfully placed over 500 clinicians into the NHS that work in specialties across Medicine over the past 10 years.
Accident and Emergency
Accident and Emergency is a uniquely busy, varied, and challenging specialty. It is often a high pressure environment, with clinicians working in Emergency departments seeing patients with urgent illnesses and injuries. We know that the clinicians we place into ED’s need to be resilient and calm under pressure – so as well as screening for qualifications and experience, we screen based on personality types.
Radiology
Our radiology team have over 15 years of experience recruiting across diagnostic and interventional radiology. We know that the NHS is currently struggling with high rates of vacancies across radiology, with many services relying on bank and agency staff to fill their rotas. Over the past 10 years, we have placed over 250 Consultants in Radiology, improving continuity of service for both patients and staff.
Psychiatry
Psychiatry is one of the fastest growing specialisms in the NHS. The service has seen increased demand following the Covid-19 pandemic and has seen increased investment from the government to expand the service. It is currently one of the highest vacancy services. We know that talented clinicians from across the globe will be instrumental in filling vacancies in the service, and we are proud to have placed 150 doctors in this specialty since 2020.
Women and Children
Our Women and Children desk covers specialisms across obstetrics and gynaecology, to paediatrics and neonatology across all staffing grades.
Pathology
We recruit for the full breadth of pathology specialties, including haematology and histopathology. We take a unique approach to pathology recruitment, leveraging our international presence directly contact and engage top clinicians from across the globe.
Theatres
Our dedicated theatres team recruit across all theatrical sub-specialties, including surgery anaesthetists and intensive care clinicians. We have placed Theatre candidates at all levels, from junior doctors to consultants.
Remedium Nursing
Earlier this year, we announced the launch of Remedium Nursing. While the needs of the NHS continue to develop and change, so too does our business and offering. Nursing vacancies across the NHS have reached historic levels, with 43,000 vacancies reported in the service in March 2023. We are dedicated to our mission of solving the UK healthcare staffing crisis, and it became clear that we could not achieve this without supporting nursing recruitment.
