Stands for Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians. This postgraduate qualification is recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC), which is the medical professional regulatory body in the UK. This means that doctors who have full FRCP are eligible for GMC registration and therefore to work as a physician in the UK, provided that they have also achieved the required score in their English language exams.
