We are currently looking for a General Medicine Consultant to join a leading University Trust in the South East of England. The role would suit a candidate with full MRCP including PACES, full GMC registration, and has successfully completed an English language assessment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in general medicine and must demonstrate expertise in leading and managing a medicine team. 

While UK experience at Consultant level is preferred, candidates with experience as a Specialty Doctor in the UK will also be considered as well as Consultants overseas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert medical care and clinical leadership within the field of general medicine.
• Diagnose and manage complex medical conditions, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
• Lead and manage a team of medical professionals, promoting a collaborative and supportive working environment.
• Oversee and actively contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, fostering effective communication and cooperation.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in general medicine.
• Uphold ethical standards and adhere to all relevant policies, guidelines, and regulations.

Qualifications and experience: 

• Full MRCP including PACES.
• Full GMC registration.
• Successful completion of an English language assessment.
• Extensive experience in general medicine, including leadership and team management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional clinical decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Salary: 

• £88,364 - £119,133
