Specialist Radiologist
We are currently hiring for a Specialty Radiologist to join a leading NHS Radiology department.
In this role, you will play a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services, leading specialized radiology procedures, and contributing to the education and mentorship of junior staff. You will be part of a collaborative team dedicated to patient care and advancing radiology practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including advanced modalities such as MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology.

Interpret and report on imaging studies with accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide accurate radiological diagnostics and contribute to patient management.

Participate in and lead interventional radiology procedures.

Supervise and mentor junior doctors, providing guidance and training in radiology techniques and best practices.

Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives within the department.

Participate in on-call duties and support emergency radiology services as required.

Stay current with the latest advancements in radiology technology and medical knowledge.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Full General Medical Council (GMC) registration with a licence to practise.

Royal College of Radiologists (RCR) Fellowship (FRCR) or equivalent.

Specialised training in a specific radiology field (e.g., neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, interventional radiology, etc.).

Substantial experience in diagnostic imaging and interpretation.
