The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Locum Consultant in Medical Oncology to join a Non-Surgical Cancer Services team in South West England, providing maternity cover for a 12-month period.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the continued delivery of the hospital's established Melanoma Service throughout the maternity leave period.

There may also be an opportunity to contribute to an additional tumour site, should the successful candidate have an interest and relevant experience in another area of oncology.

Working Arrangements

We welcome expressions of interest from suitably experienced Consultants who are available to work either full-time or less than full-time.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered, with the opportunity to discuss working patterns based on candidate availability and service requirements.

Requirements

• GMC registration with a licence to practise.

• Eligible to work as a Consultant in Medical Oncology in the UK.

• Relevant experience in the management and treatment of melanoma.

• Experience working within a multidisciplinary cancer care team.

• Ability to provide high-quality clinical care and support the ongoing delivery of oncology services.

• Additional experience in another tumour site would be advantageous but is not essential.
