Why This Opportunity Stands Out
Most doctors moving to Australia initially work heavy rotating rosters.
This is different.

Work Only 10 Shifts Per Month
Imagine: ? Earning over A$200,000 per year ? Working only 10 AFTER HOUR shifts monthly ? Having 20+ days off every month ? Travelling Australia during your time off ? Enjoying beaches, hiking, restaurants and city life instead of constant NHS rota pressure

For many UK and Irish doctors, this becomes the ideal first Australia role:

  • High income
  • Low burnout
  • Huge lifestyle upgrade
  • Time to actually enjoy living abroad

The Role
You’ll work within well-supported Australian Emergency Departments with significantly improved staffing levels and workflows compared to many NHS hospitals.

Depending on location, opportunities include:

  • Private Emergency Departments
  • Metro Emergency Medicine roles
  • Coastal ED positions
  • Lifestyle-focused regional hospitals
  • Mixed adult Emergency Medicine settings

Australian Emergency Departments generally offer:

  • Faster patient flow
  • Better nursing support
  • Less corridor medicine
  • More manageable workloads
  • Stronger work-life balance

Many departments are highly experienced in supporting UK & Irish-trained doctors relocating to Australia for the first time.
