An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP/Health Screener to join a leading private healthcare provider, delivering high-quality preventive medicine and personalised health assessments for corporate and self-paying patients in Greater London.

This role is ideal for a GP who enjoys longer consultations, lifestyle medicine, health optimisation, and preventative care. You will combine traditional GP expertise with advanced health screening and coaching to help patients improve long-term wellbeing and reduce future health risks.

The post offers excellent work-life balance with Monday to Friday office hours only, structured appointments, no routine out-of-hours commitment, and remote working opportunities.

Main Duties of the Job

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality GP care for adult private patients.
• Deliver comprehensive health assessments and advanced screening clinics.
• Review past medical history, risk factors, lifestyle, and family history.
• Perform physical examinations and interpret findings.
• Arrange investigations and follow-up plans.
• Prescribe medication and recommend treatment pathways.
• Provide personalised preventative healthcare advice.

Health Screening Duties

• Deliver advanced health screening programmes.
• Conduct cardiovascular and metabolic risk reviews.
• Support early detection of disease.
• Develop personalised wellness plans.
• Coach patients regarding sustainable lifestyle change.

Procedures

• Venepuncture/blood tests
• Cervical smear tests
• ECGs
• Basic health measurements and screening procedures

Remote Work

• One telemedicine GP session weekly from home.
• Potential flexibility for weekend remote sessions if preferred.

Person Specification

Requirements

Essential

• GMC Registered Doctor
• Licensed to practise in the UK
• Qualified GP / General Practitioner
• Minimum 1 year NHS experience
• Strong communication skills
• Strong IT / digital consultation skills
• Patient-centred approach
• Interest in preventative healthcare
• Interest in lifestyle medicine coaching

Desirable

• Previous private patient experience
• Experience in occupational/corporate healthcare
• Interest in health optimisation
• Experience with screening pathways
• Telemedicine experience
