We are currently recruiting Paediatric Registrars to join healthcare services across Australia.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within well-supported paediatric departments, managing a wide range of acute and general paediatric conditions while contributing to high-quality, family-centred care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage paediatric patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
• Manage acute paediatric presentations with appropriate escalation to consultants when required.
• Perform clinical procedures relevant to paediatric care.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing staff and allied health professionals.
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and caregivers to support holistic care.
• Participate in ward rounds, clinical handovers, and documentation.
• Contribute to teaching and supervision of junior staff where appropriate.

Person Specification

Qualifications & Registration

Essential

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
• Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (UK/Ireland)

Experience

Essential

• Experience at Registrar level in Paediatrics
• Experience managing acute paediatric cases
• Experience within the NHS or equivalent healthcare system
• Minimum 1 year of NHS experience

• Strong clinical skills in paediatric assessment and management
• Excellent communication with children and families
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
