Consultant Haematologist - £20k Relocation Bonus

East MidlandsHaematologyPermanent19 January 2024
This role is at an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust, where the Consultant appointed will join a current establishment of six Consultants and two Specialty Doctors.

This post is intended to attract a consultant in Malignant Haematology, particularly Myeloma and Lymphoma, although, due to a degree of flexibility, those with an interest in other disease areas could be considered, in order to meet the needs of the department and compliment the interests of the existing consultants. Whilst looking to recruit to a full-time Consultant role, the Trust is happy to consider applications from candidates who may be interested in working either on a full-time or part-time basis providing they can meet the needs of the service and on either a permanent or a fixed-term contract basis.

The appointed Consultant will fulfil the laboratory and clinical requirements on a shared and flexible basis with the other Consultant Haematologists. There will be the opportunity for the successful candidate to step up to the role of Clinical Lead after 2+ years in post.

A minimum of 10 planned sessions will be allocated in addition to the on-call commitments for either a full time or two part-time
posts.

Requirements:
  • Full and specialist GMC registration
  • FRCPath or evidence of equivalent qualification
  • MRCP or evidence of equivalent qualification
