What does it mean to be a father and a CEO? On Sunday, we celebrated Father’s Day in the UK. Father’s Day is all about honouring all of the special male role models in your life.
Running a company as a CEO as well as being a father can be challenging but it can also be the most rewarding job in the world.
We interviewed our CEO, David Green to find out more about how he balances being a father to his daughter and a CEO.
What’s your favourite thing about being a father?
Being a dad is the best feeling in the world! Being a little biased, being a dad to a daughter, there’s nothing better!
How do you manage juggling being a CEO and a father?
To be perfectly honest, balancing being a dad and being a CEO for an award-winning company isn’t easy. However, I always make sure I’m home for bath time one way or another.
The pandemic has really changed the way fatherhood is. Pre-pandemic, everyone was in the office 5 days a week and it made it much harder to get home early enough to see them before bedtime. I’m now able to work from home twice a week and get home earlier. Those memories you cherish forever.
I’m so thankful to have such an incredible senior leadership team as well as all the key components of the Remedium family. They make it so much easier to juggle everything.
