We are currently seeking an experienced Consultant Haematologist to join an established Haematology department within a hospital in the East of England.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering high-quality haematology services, providing specialist clinical care, diagnosis and management for patients with a range of haematological conditions.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Consultant will contribute to the ongoing delivery and development of the department's clinical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist haematology consultations, diagnosis and treatment.

• Manage patients with a range of haematological conditions.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other clinical specialties.

• Participate in relevant multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.

• Support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.

• Contribute to clinical governance, audit and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.

• Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register in Haematology, or eligibility for inclusion.

• Previous experience working at Consultant level within Haematology.

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise across the specialty.

• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
