An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Paediatrician to join a well-established Paediatric Department in Western Australia.
The successful candidate will provide Consultant-led care across inpatient, outpatient and neonatal services while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Deliver Consultant-led General Paediatric inpatient care.
• Conduct outpatient paediatric clinics.
• Provide neonatal and newborn care.
• Participate in acute paediatric assessment and management.
• Support multidisciplinary care for infants, children and young people.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
• Contribute to clinical leadership and service development.
• Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based, family-centred paediatric care.

 

Person Specification

Qualifications & Registration

Essential

• UK CCT in Paediatrics or Irish CSCST in Paediatrics (or due to complete training shortly).
• Eligibility for Specialist Registration in Australia via the Expedited Specialist Pathway or another recognised specialist pathway.

Experience

Essential

• Consultant-level experience in General Paediatrics.
• Experience delivering inpatient, outpatient and neonatal care.
• Strong clinical decision-making skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
