Anaesthetics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetics Specialist to join dynamic team at a leading Trust in the East Midlands. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge medical practices while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized anaesthetic care, with a focus on obstetric anaesthetics.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and patient-centered care.
  • Lead and participate in the teaching and training of junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to research activities and stay abreast of the latest advancements in anaesthesia.
  • Actively participate in on-call duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Full MBBS or equivalent qualification.
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
  • A minimum of 12 years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) postgraduate training in anaesthetics.
  • Significant experience in obstetric anaesthetics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex and high-risk cases.
