Specialty Doctor in CRHT

As a CRHT Specialty Doctor, you will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary mental health team, responsible for providing specialized care and treatment to patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises. Your role will focus on crisis resolution, home treatment, and psychiatric assessment, making a significant impact on the well-being of individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of patients in crisis and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide home-based psychiatric treatment, including medication management and psychotherapy, with the aim of avoiding inpatient admissions.
  • Collaborate with other members of the CRHT team, including nurses, social workers, and therapists, to ensure a holistic and patient-centred approach.
  • Participate in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide supervision, guidance, and support to junior medical staff and contribute to their professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with GMC guidelines and ethical standards in all clinical activities.
Qualifications:
  • MRPsych qualification
  • PLAB or USMLE qualification
  • GMC registration as a doctor with a license to practice in the United Kingdom
