Remedium Appoints Sales Director

Remedium is thrilled to announce the appointment of Garry Booker as Sales Director. Garry will join the board and senior leadership team at Remedium.


Garry Booker’s career spans 25 years solely within the recruitment industry. Having completed a Degree in Human Resource Management with Computer Science, Garry commenced his career within the agency environment progressing through resourcer, business development and account management to senior leadership roles spanning the technology, professional services, financial services and medical industry verticals.


Garry subsequently moved in-house, ultimately becoming Head of Recruitment for global technology & services firm Atos and the ‘big 4’ professional services firm KPMG before branching out as an independent limited company Director working with; Barclays, PA Consulting and Itineris as well as industry start up’s, industry bodies and charities.


Garry has led teams of more than 100, (geographically disparate, diverse, blended with in-house and outsourced/RPO, augmented and interim) spanning delivery, operations, marketing, technology, and administration delivering hiring volumes of up to 5000 per annum.


Garry is particularly skilled in leadership, change & transformation, process optimisation, search & selection, assessment, workforce Planning and strategy.

Garry Booker elaborates on why he feels that Remedium is the perfect fit.

“Following early success in technology recruitment and being at a career milestone, I was offered the opportunity to go into medical recruitment. The initial focus was locum Doctors to the NHS, but also building out a substantive capability beyond locum as well as additional propositions for the private health care market. For a number of reasons this period of my career really made its mark on me and, consequently, I have always wanted to return to medical recruitment. In his newly appointed role, Garry Booker plans to focus on the fundamentals of the recruitment lifecycle, as well as brand, internal/market innovation and client advisory. Being a recruiter at heart Garry is highly engaged, solution led, innovation and target orientated, he will mentor and listen to his team whilst encouraging ideas. Garry believes that it takes; People, Passion & Process to be successful.
