We’re looking for a full-time Specialty Doctor grade in old age Psychiatry for a wonderful hospital in Wales.

You will be welcomed to a well-established and supportive multi-disciplinary team in delivering high standard services. You will provide 8 sessions of direct clinical care and have 2 sessions for supporting professional activities. You will be based, along with the Consultant, at a modern purpose built facility that houses the Area 3 and 4 multi-disciplinary teams, the Care Home Psychiatric In-Reach team, clinical areas for group work and therapies, and the offices of the local Alzheimer Society.

You have your own office with telephone, desktop computer and dictaphone. You also are eligible for your own dedicated iPad if you wish.

Qualifications:
Full GMC Registration
MB BS or recognised equivalent
3 years full time post grad training (or part time equivalent), at least 2 of which will be in a specialty training programme in psychiatry or as a fixed-term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty OR equivalent experience/competencies

The successful Doctor will have experience in:
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to team approach and multi-disciplinary working
Working as part of the management team
Teaching and training of post/undergraduate medical staff
Evidence of participation in, progressing and completing audit
