An exciting opportunity is available for ED Senior doctors to join a structured Rural Generalist Training Program in Australia. This permanent post offers entry into a recognised 3-year fellowship pathway, combining Emergency Medicine exposure with primary care and advanced procedural skills.

Training Program Structure
- 3-year Rural Generalist Training Program (ACRRM pathway)
- 12 months Primary Care training
- 18 months Primary Care consolidation
- Exposure to rural emergency and procedural medicine aligned with fellowship requirements
Main Duties of the Job
- Deliver high-quality Emergency Department care within a rural healthcare setting
- Participate in structured Rural Generalist training rotations across emergency and primary care services
- Manage acute presentations with increasing clinical autonomy appropriate to PGY level
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary rural healthcare teams
- Engage in supervised procedural and advanced skill development
- Contribute to the continuity of care across emergency and community settings

Remuneration & Benefits
- Salary up to $240,000 per annum
- 9 weeks of annual leave
- Subsidised accommodation (~$280 per week)
